The advanced heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low speed situations, a balanced feel when trail riding and maximum bottoming resistance at higher speeds. The wide-arc A-arms paired with the FOX® 2.0 QS3 shocks deliver 14.2-inches of travel up front and 13.3-inches of travel in the rear. The new FOX® 2.0 QS3 shocks can be easily switched—without tools—between three custom positions to enhance comfort during relaxed driving, increase damping for normal trail riding and maximize damping during sport driving.

Roomy Four-Person Cabin

The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 R-Spec offers comfortable, secure seating for four full-sized adults with comfortable handholds and six-position seat belts for each seat. The second row is raised for excellent visibility, so everyone gets a great view of their surroundings.

By folding and sliding the rear seats forward, the rear area expands to securely transport up to 600 pounds of cargo, and includes multiple steel tie-down points. Three piece, easy-to-open door design features a steel inner structure, a molded outer door skin and a molded inner door panel for a quality feel. Robust inner door handles keep the mud out to provide smooth operation, even in challenging conditions. Doors feature integrated snap-out speaker panels for easy upgradability and soft touch points for a premium feel. To ease entering and exiting the vehicle, the front doors feature an enlarged opening, 63% wider than previous Wolverine models. Further increasing comfort, the front shoulder bolster shapes were optimized to expand the upper body opening to maintain a great, secure-feeling on the trail for riders big and small.

Driver and passenger comfort features include a tilt steering wheel with 17 degrees of adjustment, and an adjustable passenger handhold with a robust design that won't get clogged with mud or dirt. Furthering driver comfort, throttle and brake pedals have been optimized for comfort, while a strategically-designed brake master cylinder cover helps keep mud and water off the driver's feet.

For extra comfort, a new sun top is now standard on the Wolverine RMAX4 1000 R-Spec to keep the sun and other elements off occupants, while offering the ultimate in accessory incorporation with integrated sealing surfaces and mounting points for a variety of Yamaha Genuine Accessories.

Maximum Storage

Large storage areas are optimized to provide protection from the elements. The Wolverine RMAX4 1000 R-Spec features a sealed 2.7-liter center console, a 5.5-liter sealed glove box and center console cubbies. Both occupants can also quickly access their belongings with driver and passenger storage shelves containing secure rubber mats to keep items in place and two easy-to-reach cup holders.

Rugged Front Bumper
